Fire plus hazardous gas detection and instant SMS alerting system gives the instant intimation to the user through buzzer alarming as well as through SMS at user mobile phone during any emergency condition such as gas leakage or any type of blast. If we see in our daily life, then we can easily examine that mostly accidents are occurred due to lake of timely intimation and lake of knowledge. If the user will instant intimate about any gas leakage or blast, then he can easily handle that specific sudden situation as well as save from huge destruction. Every year huge economic loss is occurred due to this fire and gas blast.
So many systems are available in market which have designed with the help of different types of controller, but they are so much costly as well as they are not so much effective and efficient. On concentrating these issues, here we have designed a system that is called a fire plus hazardous gas detection and instant SMS alerting system. This system gives the blast or any hazards intimation during any fire or gas leakage condition at user mobile phone through SMS. We have designed this system with the help of step down ac transformer, bridge rectifier, voltage regulator, GSM module, gas sensor, temperature sensor, electronic buzzer, microcontroller PIC18F452 belongs to pic family, LCD display and Max 232. Working of Fire Plus Hazardous Gas Detection and Instant SMS Alerting System
This fire plus hazardous gas detection and instant SMS alerting system work of the principle fire plus hazardous gas detection procedure. When any sudden incident is occurred such as gas leakage or fire then this system detects the gas leakage through gas sensor and fire sense through temperature sensor. These sensors give the logic high signal to microcontroller. Which is the main controller of this system. It is programmed in c language with the help of mikro/c software and is powered up with 5V dc. After receiving the logic high signal then microcontroller intelligently control these signals and then gives SMS altering signal to GSM module with the help of Max232.Max232 is interfaced IC, which interfaced the GSM module with microcontroller and it is also powered up with 5V DC.
Then this GSM module sends the alerting SMS to user mobile phone. If small amount of fire or gas leakage is occurred, then this system only gives the alarm signal to electronic buzzer. Then this buzzer is switched on and vicinity people or user can easily know that some fire or gas is leakage. This alerting SMS or buzzer alarming is also displaying at LCD display. Then they can easily handle the situation before the huge blast or destruction. This system is directly installed with 230V ac supply, but it mostly consists of electronic components which are operated at 5V dc therefore 230V ac voltages are stepped down into 6 or 9 V ac with the help of step down ac transformer. Then these ac voltages are converted into dc with the help of bridge rectifier and then these are regulated to 6V dc.
